The Sapotaweyak Cree Nation is pleased to announce that after years of hard work and development, a draft SCN Custom Election Code is now ready for SCN membership’s review and consideration. A Ratification Vote will be held to approve or deny the draft SCN Custom Election Code. The date for the Ratification Vote will be determined and announced in due course.

In preparation for this important decision, the SCN Custom Election Code is hereby made available for member’s review. We encourage all community members to take the time to read and understand the proposed Custom Election Code prior to the upcoming Community Consultation meetings.

The Community Consultation meetings will provide an opportunity for community members to discuss the SCN Custom Election Code, ask questions, share their thoughts and to ensure that everyone’s voice is heard and considered in the process.
